Hey there!

We're glad you found us. Chinkilla is a brand that we've built up with our own sweat and tears to bring out the best attributes in women: self-confidence, strength, and a badass attitude. Let us tell you who we are, and why we do what we do.

what we want

Our Mission

Making the world safer by empowering women to fight back.

Our events  offer you a safe space to try martial arts and self-defense with a group of like-minded women - no judgement, no performance pressure, no competition. It's a place to open up and share stories that need to be told, have fun training together, and learn to fight back & scream at the top of our lungs.

Our fightgear  is functional, comes in sizes up to 3XL, and has no frills. We put more effort into our designs than just slapping some pink flowers on a pair of men's shorts and relabeling it women's. It's simply badass clothing made for women, by women.

Chinkilla - simply badass clohting. Fight Wear & Athleisure for badass women. Kampfsportkleidung für Frauen. Kickboxen, Muay Thai, MMA, Grappling.
how we do it

Production

If there's one thing we're not, it's fast fashion. We won’t chug out gimmicky styles & cuts to be thrown out at season’s end. We produce in very small editions and we adjust according to demand. It’s simply badass, functional gear with minimalist designs that stand the test of time.

Sustainability

We have set ourselves the goal of being as sustainable as possible within the scope of our possibilities. All packaging materials, from bags to stickers to cardboard boxes, are plastic-free and partly recyclable. We have our clothing produced in Europe, which avoids long transport routes, and all athleisure designs are screen-printed in Germany. Our factory partner works with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabrics and only employs adult workers who are paid fairly. Your chinkilla order will be delivered to your door via DHL GoGreen.

And we take it upon ourselves to constantly develop and grow in this respect. We will always consider and test possibilities such as recyclable materials, water-saving printing methods or alternative packaging methods.

Bootcamps

Every woman is welcome at our events. We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding discrimination based on religion, nationality, culture, orientation, body type. There is no competition between participants. We do not compare ourselves or our abilities. No two bodies are the same. We live by the belief that women and girls should support and empower each other. We organize free events at regular intervals so that our training is accessible to everyone. We are constantly educating ourselves on issues of privilege, inclusivity and charity and hope to give back to both the local and global community.
