Our Bootcamp in the gorgeous Austrian mountains is a 5-day, 4-night adventure of summer fun: martial arts, self-defense, fitness challenges, yoga, and mental empowerment.

With all-inclusive accommodation in a cozy mountain hut and fresh daily meals taken care of by our kitchen team, you can take the time to focus on you, bond with others, and connect with nature in the Kleinwalsertal Valley.

Ready to kick some butt?


Arrive in the afternoon and settle in at our mountain stay! After a short welcoming intro, your 3-course fresh-cooked dinner will be served by our kitchen team at 6pm, followed by Bootcamp orientation and ice-breakers to get everyone introduced. You might want to hit the hay early, because our first training day will start with an outdoor team adventure: a Trail Run Scavenger Hunt in the mountains with your very own girl squad! Help your team complete all the fitness challenges and rack up your points. Just for funsies though - this is really about building friendships and memories in the mountains! After a well-earned lunch break at the sandwich bar, we gear up for Kickboxing 101, ending the day with a relaxing yoga sesh for recovery.

Wake up to day two of our Bootcamp with an energizing morning Yoga flow before breakfast, and continue the AM with round two: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! The afternoon is full on GRL PWR with empowerment talks and Self-Defense techniques to light up your inner badass! After dinner, kick back and relax around a summer bonfire while exchanging stories and toasting marshmallows with your fellow campers (subject to weather!).

Our final training day goes out with a bang: you and a partner will take on our outdoor Fitness Circuit to complete the conquering of the mountains! One last round of Kickboxing & Self-Defense will give you a chance to review everything you learned, and we close the training day with restorative yoga. We'll gather around in the evening for a farewell dinner, and get a good night's sleep for departure the next morning.

The Accommodation

Our mountain stay for the Bootcamp will be the “Heuberghaus” located in the beautiful valley of Kleinwalsertal. This cozy hut has a spectacular panoramic view of the Hohen Ifen mountain range.

The house has individual 4- and 6-bunkbed rooms spread throughout its two floors, clean communal showers, and two large common rooms. The surrounding meadows are perfect for outdoor workouts in front of a beautiful backdrop and snuggly evenings around the campfire.

Delicious & nutritious


Our daily meals are prepared by our very own chinkilla team: our nutrition-conscious kitchen crew has experience and competence in cooking delicious healthy meals with fresh vegan and vegetarian ingredients. We also adjust to your allergies and food intolerances: just let us know in the sign up form!

Each bootcamp day starts with a balanced breakfast - wholegrain bread, rolls, vegan spreads, muesli and different types of yogurt (almond, soy). You’ll also find fresh fruit for making your own smoothies - vegan protein powder included. After the first training session, head over to the sandwich and snack bar for a light lunch to fuel you through the afternoon. After the training day ends, your warm-cooked dinner consisting of three courses awaits you - tuck in.

Our team at Simply Badass Bootcamp 2022 consists of Dani (Self-defense), Sarah (Kickboxing/Yoga), Katrin (BJJ), Phine (Head chef/Yoga), Franzi (Assistant Trainer), Franca & Elsa (Catering), and Lisa (Photographer).


Who can participate?

All women are welcome to join the Simply Badass Bootcamp! From fitness freaks to couch potatoes, this Bootcamp accommodates all levels. The martial arts classes have two levels: beginners and experienced. Our chinkilla team is international - we speak English, German, and Arabic. *Under 16's may attend with parental permission.

Are there precautions regarding Covid-19?

If our event has to be canceled due to Corona - e.g., due to the number of participants or a possible closure of the border with Austria - then 100% of the participation fee will be reimbursed. If the event is able to take place, we will follow the health ministry’s recommended measures regarding ventilation of the rooms, mask and hygiene regulations around food and sanitation, and to ensure that participants remain with one partner throughout the physical exercises. We take the situation very seriously and will follow all rules responsibly.

How do I get to the bootcamp?

For international arrivals, the most common itinerary is to fly in to Munich Airport and take the train or a rental car from there. To reach us by public transport, the destination train station is Oberstdorf. From there, a bus leaves in front of the train station for Kleinwalsertal to the “Fuchsfarm” bus stop (towards Ifen).

What's the cancellation policy?

We can only accept a cancellation on your part if you have found a replacement participant to take your place. To be on the safe side, we strongly encourage you to take out your own travel insurance that will cover cancellations for personal or health reasons (e.g., ADAC).
